For a short time, a small collection of our most distinctive bowls is on sale.
From now through Thanksgiving weekend, every Driftwood and White Pearl bowl is 25 percent off. The sale ends December 1.
Each bowl has its own story. The wood comes from fallen trees around New England, collected before it weathers away. In the shop, someone turns it by hand, then smooths the surface and adds a light coat of beeswax and mineral oil.
No two bowls ever look alike. The color shifts, the edge curves its own way, and that’s part of their charm.
On Sale Now
- Classic Round Driftwood Bowl – Smooth, light-toned maple with soft variations that show where the tree weathered the seasons.
- Live Edge Driftwood Bowl – Each rim follows the natural contour of the log, a reminder of the tree’s original form.
- Round White Pearl Bowl – Turned from bleached maple, finished to a pale, satin sheen that pairs easily with any table.
- Live Edge White Pearl Bowl – Bright and sculptural, with the organic edge left intact for a more rustic feel.
At Peterman’s Boards and Bowls, we use what the forest gives us. Most of our wood comes from trees that have already fallen here in New England. It’s material that still has life in it, and we try to show that in every bowl.
Each one is shaped by hand. We don’t hide the marks or even out the grain too much. The wood decides what it wants to be, and we work with it. No two bowls end up the same.
That’s true for the Driftwood and White Pearl collections too — both are on sale through Thanksgiving weekend. They’re turned, sanded, and finished right here in our Gill workshop.
If you want something made by hand and meant to last, this is a good time to take a look. The sale runs until December 1.
