Our Live Edge Oval Wood Cutting Boards are shaped from spalted maple and cut to follow the natural line of the tree. Each board retains its live edge, where the outer contour rises and bends in ways no template could repeat. The spalting runs through the maple in dark, organic lines, formed long before the wood reached the workshop.
Available in six sizes, ranging from 12 inches to 33 inches in length, these boards work across the kitchen. The smaller sizes are well suited for slicing citrus or serving cheese. The longer boards handle bread, roasted meats, or a full spread set down the center of a table.
Each oval cutting board is hand-finished and sealed with our food-safe blend of beeswax and mineral oil. The surface feels smooth but grounded, with enough weight to stay steady while you work.
