This 15-inch round cutting board offers a generous surface while remaining versatile. Spalted maple gives each board its own personality. As the tree ages, dark lines and organic markings develop throughout the pale wood, creating patterns that can’t be repeated. Each board is made from a single slab of reclaimed maple, shaped by hand in our Massachusetts workshop.
We leave the natural edge visible around the circumference and add a light soy-based stain to bring out the contrast between bark and board. The surface is sanded smooth and finished with a food-safe oil that protects the wood without muting the grain.
This size feels at home in the center of the table, but it works just as well tucked into daily kitchen routines.

Our mineral oil has a beeswax base that adds beauty and protection from everyday wear and tear. Beeswax conditioners help prevent wood from drying out as well as from absorbing too much moisture.
