This 15-inch round cutting board offers a generous surface while remaining versatile. It’s well suited for family-style cheese plates, charcuterie spreads, or everyday prep when you want a little more room. Many people use this size for both cutting and presentation, bringing it straight from counter to table.
Spalted maple gives each board its own personality. As the tree ages, dark lines and organic markings develop throughout the pale wood, creating patterns that can’t be repeated. Each board is made from a single slab of reclaimed maple, shaped by hand in our Massachusetts workshop.
We leave the natural edge visible around the circumference and add a light soy-based stain to bring out the contrast between bark and board. The surface is sanded smooth and finished with a food-safe oil that protects the wood without muting the grain.
This size feels at home in the center of the table, but it works just as well tucked into daily kitchen routines.
Hand wash with mild soap and towel dry.
Apply mineral oil once a month to maintain the natural beauty of the wood.
Our mineral oil has a beeswax base that adds beauty and protection from everyday wear and tear. Beeswax conditioners help prevent wood from drying out as well as from absorbing too much moisture.
Prolonged exposure to water can cause damage; please do not submerge in water or place in the dishwasher.
Common mistakes include letting old fruit and vegetables rot at the bottom of a bowl (this may stain) or putting wood in the oven.
