Our 13-inch medium wooden bowls are shaped for daily use. Hand-turned from storm-fallen New England hardwoods, theyโre sized for a full salad, a bowl of apples on the counter, or roasted vegetables brought straight to the table.
Available in both classic round and live edge forms, each bowl follows the character of the tree it came from. The round bowls emphasize smooth, even curves. The live edge pieces retain the natural outer line of the log, where the shape shifts and bends in ways no template could predict. Grain patterns move differently in every piece. You may see spalting in maple, deep tones in walnut, or the warm pull of cherry.
Each bowl is finished with our food-safe blend of beeswax and mineral oil. The surface feels smooth but not slick. The weight is balanced in your hands. Made to be used often, washed by hand, and set back out again. Over time, the wood deepens in color and takes on the marks of real meals and real gatherings.
