Our 21-inch jumbo wooden bowls are the largest we make. Hand-turned from storm-fallen New England hardwoods, each one is shaped from a single substantial blank and finished by hand in our Massachusetts workshop. At this scale, the grain becomes the focal point โ wide arcs of maple, deep walnut tones, or the warm pull of cherry moving across a broad surface.
Available in both classic round and live edge forms, these 21-inch wooden bowls are designed for gathering. As a jumbo wooden salad bowl, they easily serve a crowd. They also work as a statement centerpiece, holding seasonal fruit or standing on their own at the center of a long table. The live edge versions retain the natural contour of the tree, creating a rim that rises and dips with the original form of the log.
Each hand-turned wooden bowl is finished with our food-safe blend of beeswax and mineral oil. The weight is noticeable. The curve feels deliberate. Nothing is laminated or pieced together.
No two 21-inch wooden bowls are alike. The size alone makes that certain. These are bowls made for holidays, large families, and tables where thereโs always room for one more.
