Description
The Jumbo Ambrosia Maple Bowl is our showpiece. This is the one you see set up for serving during gatherings—sometimes with pasta or grain salads, other times piled with citrus. Some folks keep it empty. It doesn’t need to be full to draw the eye.
It comes from the same upcycled hardwoods we use for all our pieces. These trees were once bound for the firewood pile—until we saw their potential. Now they’re bowls people use for years.
We turn each of these by hand, working with the natural shape of the wood. The Ambrosia maple has a light body with gray streaks throughout—caused by a beetle that passed through the tree, marking it as it went.
No two patterns are the same. And when it’s finished with food-safe oil, the grain comes alive. It’s a beautiful bowl with real presence—one that earns a permanent spot in the center of your home.
