The dark surface comes from an age-old reaction between oak’s tannins and a natural solution, producing shades from dark chocolate to almost black. The grain still shows through, adding quiet texture. Made from reclaimed oak and finished with food-safe oil, it’s light enough to handle daily but strong enough to last for decades.
