Description
Small live edge Ambrosia maple bowls have a knack for catching the eye. Ten inches across, good for a side salad, a handful of berries, or just sitting by the sink holding lemons. The rim follows the tree’s own curve — no perfect circle here, and that’s the charm.
We start with reclaimed ambrosia maple from New England. The beetle leaves streaks, soft lines, and sometimes little bursts of gray or gold right in the grain. Each piece turns out different. Finished with food-safe oil, so the markings stay clear and the surface stays smooth.
One night it might end up on the dinner table, the next on the coffee table with nuts or fruit. Light to carry, easy to use, and somehow it always finds a job.
