This 10-inch wooden bowl doesn’t shout—but it gets noticed. Hand-turned from Ambrosia maple in our Massachusetts workshop, it’s quietly beautiful, with a size that works just about anywhere. On the counter. At your bedside. Or wherever you like to keep the small things close.
What gives it its character is the wood itself. Ambrosia maple is known for its pale base and drifting gray streaks—traces left by a beetle that once passed through the tree. No two bowls carry the same pattern.
We take our time with these. Each bowl is shaped by hand, slowly and carefully. Then we sand it smooth and apply a food-safe oil that brings out the natural grain. You’ll feel the difference when you hold it.
It’s a simple wooden bowl, but it carries the story of where it came from—and the care that shaped it.
