Fifteen inches across, this large two-tone cherry wooden bowl handles a heap of greens, roasted vegetables, or warm bread for the table. The interior shows the cherry’s steady grain; the exterior is ebonized to a deep, even tone that frames the rim. As a large wooden salad bowl, it has presence without feeling fussy.
Each bowl begins as reclaimed cherry, turned by hand until the curve feels right in the palm. We keep the inside food-safe and natural, the outside darkened for contrast. Over time, the cherry interior deepens in color—the kind of patina you only get from real use.
On weekdays it’s the serving bowl that keeps getting passed around; on weekends it can anchor the table with fruit between meals.
