At eighteen inches, this extra-large spalted/ambrosia maple harvest wooden bowl with handles is built for generous servings. The oval form has the space for a family-sized wooden salad bowl with handles, and the maple side grips make it simple to carry from counter to table.
We work only with reclaimed maple from across New England, choosing pieces with spalting that brings out bold, organic patterns in the grain. Each bowl is hand-shaped so no two follow quite the same lines. A light coat of food-safe oil protects the surface while keeping the natural feel of the wood.
Perfect for a crowd—salad for ten, fresh bread for the table, or roasted vegetables straight from the oven—it also works as a display bowl when not in use.
