This extra-large Ambrosia maple bowl is a statement. It’s the one you reach for when hosting—whether that means fresh greens, warm rolls, or a fall harvest of apples. You’ll also see it left out between meals, on display.
We use wood that others overlook—trees that fell on their own, or were taken down for safety. These bowls are shaped from upcycled hardwoods in our New England workshop. What some see as scrap, we see as opportunity.
Ambrosia maple is known for its pale tones and soft, smoky streaks. Those gray patterns are made by a beetle that once moved through the tree—leaving behind distinctive lines that make every bowl different.
This one’s turned by hand, not machine. The process is slow. But the result is a bowl that lasts and feels good in your hands.
