The White Pearl finish starts with sturdy white oak, softened by a light, food-safe wash that mutes the wood’s natural gold into a pale, pearl-like tone. The grain still shows through the surface, giving quiet texture and depth. Turned in a classic round form, these bowls feel both clean and timeless, blending easily into any kitchen or table setting.
Some bowls end up in constant use. A quick salad, a pile of fruit, even just bread at the table. The small ones tuck easily onto a counter or sideboard. The big sizes step forward when you need space — greens for a crowd, or the dish you want right in the middle of the table.
Each bowl is hand-turned in Gill, Massachusetts, from locally salvaged oak. What might otherwise be discarded becomes functional art in the hands of our craftspeople, part of a New England tradition of wooden bowl-making that values both usefulness and longevity. Finished with our food-safe oil, these bowls are made to be used, loved, and passed down.
